The TV Movie aired numerous times on the two HBO Olé stations during 1999; La Prensa

TV was introduced to PANAMA in 1956. Although the series was not shown on any local terrestrial TV channels, it may have been seen via signals from neighbouring countries:

A run of Spanish-dubbed William Hartnell stories was seen in Costa Rica in 1971-72, followed by Tom Baker from 1980-83.

Omnibus editions of Tom Baker serials were also broadcast (in English) on the US Armed Forces Network (AFRTS) closed-circuit channel in the Panama Canal Zone in 1986.

Spanish viewers could see a sub-titled edition of the 1996 TV Movie several times during 1999 via the two HBO Olé cable channels.

Panama could receive both the 'East' and 'West' feeds: the former could be accessed on Cable (channel 3), fibre optic (channel 30) or antenna (channel 3), while the latter was only available on fibre (channel 29).
